As a result of friends and relatives purchasing their first iPod, I've created a quick interactive tutorial primarily targeting Windows users that may be having a hard time adjusting to the iTunes interface. I'll admit that I'm still not quite used to iTunes, but I do like how it utilizes standard MP3 tag information to sort, file, and organize my entire collection. My collection of music was growing harder and harder to manually organize, so I can certainly see an iTunes (or similar) application in my future. For the others, however, there's Anapod Explorer.

Software required:

  • Winamp 5.x (Really any version that supports CD Ripping, or an alternative ripping application)
  • Anapod Explorer & Manager (v9.0 or above)
  • Windows Operating System

This interactive tutorial require the Macromedia Flash Plug-in (version 7 or higher). Please be sure you have this plug-in before proceeding.
